OSLO TRAIL CHALLENGE


Oslo Trail Challenge is an ultra-trail race in the forest areas Nordmarka, Lillomarka, and Romeriksåsen to the North of Oslo city centre.

Oslo Trail Challenge will not be organized in 2022.


Oslo Trail Challenge was last organized 1-3 October 2021. The information below corresponds to that event.


Enrolment is open from 15 November 2020.


The routes are not marked. It is your responsibility to navigate such to follow the route, by using a GPS track or a paper map.


Enrolment is open in the period 15 November 2020 - 29 September 2021. Subscriptions are accepted as long as there are available slots. A slot can be transferred to a different participant, for a fee of NOK 150.

Yields 6 endurance points with ITRA

  • Maximum 50 participants
  • Start: Veståsen skole, Gjerdrum, Friday 1 October 08:30
  • Finish: Veståsen skole, Gjerdrum
  • Turnaround point: Myllsdammen, Lunner
  • Maximum time: 53 hours
  • Time barrier, Myllsdammen: Saturday 2 October 09:30
  • Time barrier, Slattum skole: Sunday 3 October 09:30
  • Participant fees: 15.11-14.04 NOK 1100; 15.04-14.09 NOK 1300; 15.09-29.09 NOK 1500
  • Baggage: May be delivered before start and picked up at the finish
  • The runners may have access to a  dropbag at Myllsdammen
  • Support: Only allowed at Myllsdammen 


100 km

Yields 4 endurance points with ITRA

  • Maximum 100 participants
  • Start: Myllsdammen, Lunner, Saturday 2 October 09:30
  • Finish: Veståsen skole, Gjerdrum
  • Maximum time: 28 hours
  • Time barrier, Slattum skole: Sunday 3 October 09:30
  • Participant fees: 15.11-14.04 NOK 800; 15.04-14.09 NOK 1000; 15.09-29.09 NOK 1200
  • Baggage: May be delivered before start and picked up at the finish
  • Support: Not allowed


55 km

Yields 2 endurance points with ITRA

  • Maximum 100 participants
  • Start: Myllsdammen, Lunner, Saturday 2 October 09:30*
  • Finish: Veståsen skole, Gjerdrum
  • Maximum time: 12 hours
  • Time barrier, Nittedal stasjon: Saturday 2 October 18:30*
  • Participant fees: 15.11-14.04 NOK 500; 15.04-14.09 NOK 650; 15.09-29.09 NOK 800
  • Baggage: May be delivered before start and picked up at the finish
  • Support: Not allowed


*) The time has been shifted 15 minutes because of bus-for-train

Transportation


From/to Veståsen skole

Veståsen skole has good bus connection to Oslo city centre and to Oslo airport.


To the start at Mylla, Saturday 2 October*

Bus transport is offered to the start at Mylla from Veståsen skole and Grua railway station. The departure time from Grua matches the arrival of the first bus-for-train from Oslo.
